Scrapbook Layout: My Mind's Eye/Stella & Rose- All Boy

Here is a page I made using My Mind's Eye "Stella and Rose" paper, I'm not for sure what collection 'cause I bough a huge bulk paper pad with all the collections in it. I also got some stamp sets and the collections they go to are called, Hazel, Mabel, & Hattie. The paper I used could be from one of those sets. The banner is chipboard and is from CTMH. The Stamped images I used on this page are from random stamps. CTMH's Star Struck, Teresa Collins- On the Edge stamp set, & Stella and Rose- Hattie stamp set. I used Hemp for string and CTMH's canvas buttons (love those! you can leave them the plane canvas fabric or stamp right onto them...very cool!). The Canvas Alphabet is also from CTMH... you can ink these all up as well... some of my favorite alphabets by far!!! Also added some orange striped washi tape. The dark matte brown buttons are from Basic Grey. The brads are from CTMH in dark Cocoa. I used some cardstock from CTMH (my favorite cardstock! -has the white core and is very thick!) in Bamboo. All ink is from CTMH. Colors- Bamboo, Cocoa, Desert Sand, & Outdoor Denim.

Scrapbook Layout: CTMH Emporium

Here is a page from Close to my Heart, packet is called "Emporium". (My camera didn't get the color right, its more of a softer blue, "Twilight" and the ribbon is colonial white.) Title says "Love this BOY". The letters I used are Canvas Alphabet, banner is chipboard, and the sayings wheel is a stamp set called "Wheel of Life". (The last pic is closer to the true color.)

Full Layout:

(remember the color is not this bright!!! Its called "Twilight" and is a darker-softer hue.)

Tulle placed in the middle of the paper flowers add such a dramatic look... and 'twisted' fabric flowers... add a soft touch!!!

Here I sewed on the red hearts with black thread. Love this technique!!!

Scrapbook Layout: CTMH Mischief (Second Layout)

Second Layout using Mischief. This packet has a fun Elegance look to it! Perfect for a Grown-up Halloween Party! I love the Felt Stickers. The Rosettes where made using the Cricut Expression, Cartridge is Art Philosophy. Rosettes are cut at 3" & 4" inches. I also added some fun accessories... Opaques in Licorice, Irresistibles in Houndstooth Alphabet (inked them in black), & some black Shimmer Trim. I do want to create one more layout using this packet, and a special Stamp of the Month called "Wicked". This stamp set was only available in August of 2011.

Beyond cute, and definitely my style! I think this paper packet and stamp set will go perfect together...! Lets see what I can come up with! (3rd layout with be in a new post).

Scrapbook Layout: CTMH Mischief

I'm working on CTMH's Mischief. This packet was featured in the Autumn/Winter 2011 Idea book... I know, I'm finally getting around to doing something with it! It's my favorite Halloween themed packet from CTMH... so I bought up like 4 kits! lol and still it has taken me forever to get working on it! Along with the paper I got the Midnight Felt Shapes (a few sets!), black & grey Sparkles and the Mischief Rub-Ons, LOVE those! (again...a few sets of the rub-ons as well). I'm also using the Glitter Buttons in Black. You will notice that my paper is a little warped, that is because I sprayed Colonial White Cardstock (CTMH) with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Spanish Moss. If you want to stay exclusively with CTMH you can make your own "glimmer mist" by mixing a Re-Inker color of your choice, Pearl Paint & water in a Spray Pen all sold by Close to my Heart. Shake it up and spray away!!! I used 2 different stamp sets. All Hallows Eve #C1462, and the set that came in the Workshop-on-the-Go kit #C1477 this stamp set could only be purchased with the kit.

as you can see, the page example above was used as my inspiration for my own pages! You can find all sorts of wonderful layouts in the Idea Books! This layout is also featured in the Magic Book: Final Act. Magic gives full instructions on how to create all different layouts, and is packed with fun & new ideas!

Here is a photo of the Workshop on the Go kit. Came with a set of Felt stickers and a special Stamp set. The Banner is an extra project that could be made with the kit. The kit is no longer available from CTMH, but they are always bringing out new and amazing kits...!

Well... here's my pages... Enjoy!

Scrapbook Layout: CTMH Flirty

Pages I made using Flirty from Close to my Heart.
(pictures aren't the best... sorry)

The colors are different... but when put all together turn out gorgeous! The roses and leaves are stamped. The tree, words, butterflies, and owl are chipboard die-cuts. I used yellow gems.
The pages are simple... yet lovely.
